Chicco KeyFit 30 + City Mini GT anyone?

Does anyone have this combo? I am thinking about getting it but I'm not sure if it's going to be a pain to fold up! If so, I was looking into the chicco bravo travel system instead. What adapter did you use for the chicco and city mini? What is your experience with this combo? Thanks!!

We bought this combo and of course haven't used it yet but I LOVE the ease of folding and unfolding the City Mini GT. There is an adaptor you can buy to have the key fit go in to the city mini (like $60-80), but I don't think we plan to use the seat and stroller together, instead wait til baby is big enough to go in the stroller directly. In the meantime, we purchased the Chicco caddy, which is $99 but is easy to find secondhand for much cheaper. The key fit just clicks right in to that caddy and it's very lightweight. Hope this helps!

@lgp88,

that helps a ton!! Thank you so much!!

Yes, we have used the Keyfit30 with the City Mini for both of our kids, and will for baby 3 as well. I don't remember what the adaptor is called, but it was easy to find at BBB (or BRU when they still existed). I'm sure you can order online, too. I can't recall if the adaptor has to be removed to fold up the stroller; if that's the case, it's very easy to pop in and out. I would say go for it; it's easy to make the car seat compatible, and it's worth it to have a stroller you love for the long haul. The City Mini is the only stroller we have ever bought; it's great!

@kcrewstl,

awesome! That's good to hear. Thank you!!

I have the GT and am looking at either the keyfit 30 or the fit 2. I haven't folded it yet but I have a lot of friends who've used that combo and didn't find it problematic.

@GirlGoneHopeful,

this is the combo I'm planning as well. I like the fit2 better. Hopefully it all works together.

We have this combo! It never was a problem for us and using it again with #2! We got the adapter at buy buy baby!

This is the same combo I got! I have to order the adapter still but I am hoping it's not a total pain

get the GT. The Bravo can't compare to the GT. GT is much better. I had both and sold my Bravo after 6 months. I still have my GT.

@SCZap,

good to know! My heart says GT lol!
